Overview
If you already work with Azure, you manage your resources with tools such as the Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, an Azure SDK, or an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool such as Bicep or Terraform. The LocalStack Azure emulator implements the Azure Resource Manager and service APIs, so you keep using the same tools: you only point them at the emulator instead of Azure.
The quickest way in is the Azure CLI. lstk az start-interception
sends every az command to the emulator until you stop it, and ARM templates and Bicep deploy
through the same az commands.
Azure CLI
Point the Azure CLI at the LocalStack Azure emulator with lstk az.
Azure PowerShell
Manage resources on the LocalStack Azure emulator with the Azure PowerShell Az modules.
Credentials
The subscription, tenant, credentials and endpoints that the LocalStack Azure emulator accepts.
Azure SDKs
Use the Azure SDKs with the LocalStack Azure emulator.
Infrastructure as Code
Deploy resources to the LocalStack Azure emulator with ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, Pulumi and the Azure Developer CLI.
