- License management: Admins distribute available licenses from the subscription plan to specific members through the Users & Licenses dashboard.

- Select the option to remove them from the workspace.
You can re-invite them anytime. You can’t remove yourself, and some members can’t be removed from this page. See Restrictions.
Managing Roles and Permissions
Section titled “Managing Roles and Permissions”Use the ⋯ menu at the right of a member’s row to view and edit their role.
- Set them as Admin or Member
- Configure advanced permissions if available
Restrictions
Section titled “Restrictions”To keep your workspace safe, these rules apply to everyone who manages members, including admins:
- Your own membership: You can’t change your own role or permissions, or remove yourself. Ask another admin to do it.
- Higher roles: Members who can manage other members can’t change or remove admins, and can’t make anyone an admin.
- Permissions you don’t have: You can only give a member a permission that you have yourself. You can remove any permission.
- SCIM-managed members: If SCIM is enabled, members added through SCIM show a SCIM badge. Your identity provider decides who is in the workspace, so you can’t remove these members here. If a member’s role comes from a SCIM role group, you can’t change their role here either. You can still edit their permissions.
Because of these rules, nobody can demote or remove the last admin of a workspace from this page.
When an action isn’t available, it’s greyed out in the ⋯ menu. Hover over it to see why.
Managing Licenses
Section titled “Managing Licenses”Licenses are part of subscription plans and are shown in the License column of the members list.
- To assign or change a license: Click directly on the license name for a member to open the license dropdown.
- To unassign a license: Select the no-license option from the same dropdown.
- A license can be reassigned at any time.
Changes apply immediately and don’t require user action.
